FortisBC’s New Home Program offers rebates to help reduce costs and support builders in achieving higher BC Energy Step Code levels.
To qualify for whole home rebates, homes must meet Step 4 or 5 standards, and an Energy Advisor (EA) must be hired for EnerGuide evaluations.
Additional rebates are available for equipment, mechanical design, and the integrated design process.

An Energy Advisor (EA) verifies the energy performance of the home by conducting a blower door test and completing an as-built energy simulation model.
